Chanson inaugurée par Thom, seul à la guitare, en second rappel. La guitare solo ressemble à Listen, duo d'MC Solaar et Urban Species [merci Benrio], d'autres parlent du Loser de Beck... La version live actuelle est plus nerveuse, tout le groupe joue dessus. Elle est plus rapide que sur l'album.
Curieusement, ce morceau sonne très rock alors que Thom lui même dit que ce n'était pas au départ fait pour. La batterie est simple, la voix efféminée : le fausset et la réverbération donnent à Thom une voix bien plus aigue que d'habitude. Le morceau est finalement d'une composition assez classique chez Radiohead, une guitare qui produit des effets (au hasard je dis Ed), un riff assez percutant, basse et batterie. À noter le jeu de basse assez génial de Colin. Au milieu de la chanson tout s'arrête pour un solo qui paraît faux, fausse note ou manoeuvre volontaire ? En tous cas cela choque à l'oreille d'autant plus que le live est joué différent, plus rythmé, plus rapide et chanté d'une manière plus énergique. Les paroles de cette chanson sont très différentes de toutes celles rencontrées depuis OK Computer, elles sont bien plus personnelles, directes et moins cryptiques. Cette chanson fut désignée pour être la bande son d'un spot promouvant l'esprit sportif pour les Jeux Olympiques d'hiver 2002 de Salt Lake City. À la différence de beaucoup des morceaux de Kid A et d'Amnesiac, elle fut jouée la première fois en acoustique avec des paroles légèrement différentes. (Flavien)
