Cette chanson de Revolver a été écrite et chantée par John Lennon, et c'est de façon assez évidente une apologie de la drogue. Dans la version originale, on entend ce qui ressemble à des cris d'indiens, ou de mouettes : c'est en fait le rire de Paul découpé en morceau et passé à l'envers (Merci à Nathanaël CL). Il y a du sitar, la batterie est très répétitive, assez violente (la "ride" est ouverte) des bandes passées ö l'envers... C'est une chanson assez originale donc (pour l'époque, et encore maintenant). Le fond sonore est constitué de seize bandes en boucle que l'on fait disparaître et apparaître à volonté. La batterie, très répétitive, constituera la base rythmique du Setting Sun des Chemical Brothers, chanté par Noel Gallagher. Il comporte du sitar, instrument de musique indien à ne pas confondre avec la cithare antique, semblable à la lyre puis désignant un autre type d'instrument dans lequel les cordes sont tendues sur une caisse de résonnance ne comportant pas de manche. Le sitar est un luth à très long manche dont le maître le plus reconnu est Ravi Shankar. (merci à Julien)

Pendant la tournée d'automne de Pablo Honey, à St. Louis le 17 octobre 1993, il y avait deux batteries sur scène. Soudain, Phil vient sur scène et s'assoie à l'une d'elles. Puis Jonny vient avec une guitare. Et avec Belly, le groupe qui assurait la première partie, ils jouent Tomorrow Never Knows. Jon et Phil jouaient les parties principales, et Colin prenait des photos d'eux depuis le public.
